Sessions may also include instructional time for the parents and caregivers to learn how to provide massage for their babies.

Sports Massage

Sports massage therapy is appropriate for active athletes or individuals in training or rehabilitation.

Thai Massage

Thai Massage is sometimes referred to as “Lazy Person Yoga.” Whereas most massages promote deep relaxation and a quieting of the mind and body, Thai massage encourages you to become more engaged and energized. Wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is recommended. Benefits include the relief of physical and emotional tensions and ailments, improved flexibility, a greater awareness of body and mind, and a release of blocked energy.

Movement Re-education

This technique assists the body to move in a more functional and free way and involves gentle rocking motions and compressions. It may be done fully clothed. Therapeutic techniques of movement re-education may be used to improve impaired movement, balance, coordination, proprioception, and kinesthetic sense, alleviate headaches, and release deep-seated trauma.

Chair Massage

Chair massage is ideal for quick stress-relief, especially for tension in the neck and shoulders. Chair massage appointments are typically 15-30 minutes and cost $1/minute.

Prenatal/postpartum massage

Pregnancy is a time of rapid growth and change in the mother’s body as the baby grows. This modality can be used to reduce stress and muscle tension by incorporating mobility and pressure to release aches in the body, while also being a great way to relax.
