Please join Liza and Lauren to celebrate Winter Solstice and the descent into the darkest night of the year. We will prepare ourselves to enter this quiet and internal time by setting intentions for the coming months. We will practice gentle yoga, sing and chant with the monochord and crystal bowls, and end our evening in silent meditation. Winter Solstice is a magical time, and the winter months are the ideal season to slow down, reflect, and rest the body, mind, and spirit. Prepare your whole being and align yourself with this ideal time of rest, contemplation, and rejuvenation. Come, dive into the darkness, plant your seeds and cultivate the light of the heart!
This class is currently offered in-person only with a maximum capacity of fifteen students. We invite people of all ages to join in the celebration. No experience of any kind required.
Props: yoga mat, blankets, blocks, bolsters, eye pillows, fuzzy socks, and any other materials that will make you feel deliciously comfy and at home. You can use our provided yoga props or purchase your own from the Centered store.
