Kundalini Yoga
“Kundalini Yoga is a practice of a person’s own excellence which is dormant and which is awakened” – Yogi Bhajan

This ongoing weekly class, taught by Lauren Higdon, is a modern exploration into this ancient yogic tradition. Kundalini yoga is a practice in personal development and discipline. It is open to everyone, and through our breathwork practice and Kriyas (set of movements, breathing or chanting – usually held for a set amount of time) we develop incredible core strength, integration and awareness. Benefits are immense and include greater overall strength and targeted belly/core strength, flexibility, immune boost, reduction of stress and anxiety, calm mind, feelings of connection to a greater whole.

Happy, Healthy, Whole.

Qi Gong

Learn basic postures, breathing methods and movement protocols that form the foundation of Qi Gong practice. The class assists student to practice and use the diverse methods of Qi Gong to meet their individual goals and needs.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art composed primarily of slow meditative physical movements designed for application, relaxation, balance, physical and mental health. Tai Chi is considered a soft martial art. Tai Chi is beneficial to the human body in many ways. It helps to reduce stress and anxiety, increase bone density and lower blood pressure within its practitioners.

Tai chi (Tai Chi) provides meditation, self-defense, improved control of balance and much more. The slow controlled movements cause the red slow twitch muscle fibers to build more mitochondria, the energy factories of the cell, increasing metabolism and endurance.

Slow Flow Yoga

We are vast, like the sky. And when we practice, we get a moment of vacation from outside stress. Even just a moment. And little by little, we build on that moment. And our mind relaxes. More space inside. And we notice that this is our natural state.

Special Needs Yoga

This beginner introductory therapeutic yoga class includes practical techniques of movement, balance, relaxation, breath, sound vibration, presence, and mindfulness.

Arrive in wheelchairs or on walkers, canes, or crutches. Those with invisible special needs are welcome. Caretakers welcome.

All ages. All abilities. All cognitive levels.
