Happy Earth Day, everyone!
In acknowledgement and celebration of this beautiful Planet Earth we call home, it is our intention to begin raising more awareness about our water quality. We are personally taking on this task right here at Centered as part of our earth-loving mission to improve water quality. As you may already know, water makes up 60% of the human body; 75% of our brain and muscles; and a whopping 92% of our blood. About 71% of the Earth’s surface is water-covered, and while the oceans hold almost all of Earth’s water, we can also find water in the air we breathe as water vapor… in our rivers and lakes… in Earth’s icecaps and glaciers… in the ground as soil moisture and in aquifers… and in ourselves as well as the other living beings on this planet. Water is our vitality and the level of its purity is indicative of our own health.
In honor of Earth Day, we are excited to announce a new partnership with our neighbors at Bluegrass Greensource. We’re starting a new campaign to raise awareness of water quality and help remove fluoride from our water. In addition, we’ll be donating a portion of our proceeds each month to benefit Bluegrass Greensource and the wonderful things they are doing for our community and our planet.
We’d love for you to be part of what we’re doing and we can’t wait to share more details with you. More info is coming soon, and in the meantime please know that the money you are spending at Centered along with any donations you make in our “Hugs and Kisses” jar will indeed be put to good use over the upcoming months, helping Bluegrass Greensource directly improve our community, our planet and our way of life.
